The team at Krensen consists of highly experienced, innovative, passionate engineers and industry specialists, working to deliver exceptional new products and solutions.

Driven by 3 influential people. Two engineers with over 40 years combined experience in marine and automotive system integration, having extensive experience with BMS, EMS, Control, Power Distribution & HV Safety. Along with a project consultant accustomed to a highly regulated environment for over 20 years.

Gary Wright

CEO

I have over 22 years’ commercial & technical experience within the maritime sector ranging from Integrated Bridge Systems to adoption of hybrid propulsion systems & lithium-ion battery technologies.

I have a knowledge of taking concepts through design readiness process to series production and Type Approval.

Stephen Smith

CTO

I have over 20 years’ experience in the automotive and motorsport sector delivering high performance hybrid and electric vehicles utilising state of the art power trains and high voltage lithium-ion batteries.  Skilled at whole vehicle architecture, software and hardware development with a primary focus on vehicle integration and functional safety.   At Krensen my role is to carry over this experience and latest technology to the marine sector.

I have managed projects in a highly regulated environment, mainly for Zurich Financial Services for the past 20 years.
I have delivered systems & business change for customers at project, programme & portfolio levels, managing multiple programmes of work up to £20m.
